I'm so ashamed that someone could actually do this. It makes one feel really bad that a human could stoop so low. Our heart go out to the innocent ones whose life was cut short. Let's pray that justice will be served.

	    		-Randall Frierson

As a fellow federal worker and human being It is unimaginable that any one can plot to wreak such havoc against other human beings. I offer my sincere condolences to the friends and families of the bombing victims.

"Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our words cannot replace your loss, but know that we would be with you to do whatever little we could to ease your pain."

-Derek A.T. Knapp, American University (SIS '95)

My thoughts and prayers are with all the people of Oklahoma. Although I have never visited there before, I feel that your true strength and courage as a city was displayed through the media during this terrible crisis. God loves you all and so do I.

	    		-Jonathan J. Jaffin

Hello from Hastings, Nebraska. You have probably never heard of us, but we have all got our eyes on the TV wathching the ever changing events on TV. I want all of you to know our dearest, heartfelt condolences on the tradgedy. Be strong, we are all praying for you. God be with you all.

	    		-Adam

On behalf of all of us in our School District, I send my utmost sympathy and prayers. We have watched in helplessness all of the broadcasts from your beleagered city. Courage.

	    		-Lucie Snow

As my entire attention has been drawn to TV, newspapers, and the INTERNET since terror hit your city, although many miles away and with no direct connection to any of the victims, it is as though I too have lost a personal loved one. I share your sorrow and wish that from this tragedy, a new beginning and the healing process can begin, not only to what has happened to those personally affected, but for myself as well. My thoughts remain with you.

	    		-Bill in St. Louis

I saw in the local paper here in Fort Collins, Colorado, that there was a way to send e-mail to Oklahoma to be posted on the Internet. I've been thinking all day about what I might be able to say to help anyone who might read this. I asked my 8-year-old son what he would want to say, and he said, "tell them that I'm really sad that the bombing happened and that I hope they didn't know anybody who was killed or hurt." You know, he can be pretty profound sometimes! I work for the County government here in town and we get our share of nasty comments about "damn government employees", but I still think that the majority of people in this world are good. Unfortunately (or "fortunately", depending on how you look at it), it's not the majority who do awful things like killing innocent people for some unknown, stupid reason. I really don't know what to say; I was shocked and horrified that such an awful thing happened, especially to the kids, but also to the people who just were trying to put in an honest day's work in their offices. I hope that all of us can heal from this tragedy and that, somehow, we'll all find a way to come together and make a peaceful and safe future for our kids. My heart goes out to any of you who lost loved ones. Take care.

Our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and our deepest respect for those involved in the search and rescue. As parents of a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old, we can't imagine the pain of those who lost their babies. As former residents of Kansas and Michigan, we feel the shock and horror of this deed in our guts. As fellow citizens and human beings we deplore this evil, and hope the day will soon come when hate groups are a thing of the past.

If any good can come from this, perhaps we can learn to love and care for each other instead of hate and divide. I may be in Eagle River, Alaska, but my heart is in Oklahoma. Peace.

As we who are left will grow old
Age shall not wither them
Nor the passing years condemn
At the rising of the sun

We shall remember them. - Binyon (?)

	    		-Yusef D. Brower

Nearly everyone in my family have worked or do work for the gov't. and I cant tell you how hard it was to watch the news and here of the deaths. I live in Austin, Tx just down the rd. from Waco and that tradgedy shocked us but it was a choice those people made by there lifestyle and pathetic interpritation of scripture. To blatantly destroy innocent lives in retaliation is pure evil! God will not allow this to go unpunnished whether all of the terrorist are found or not- they will suffer with the knowledge of what they did mentally and physically. My prayers are with the families and the friends of those who have suffered from this travesty!! Our country will not forget!!!

	    		-Doug La Rue Austin, Texas

Prior to going to Vietnam, my family and I were stationed at Tinker and had the privilege of experiencing your warmth and hospitality. Through this terrible recent tragedy, we have again seen a community of good people and great spirit showing the world what it means to be an American. God Bless You All. -John Weekley

Tears, tears, and more tears. We do what we can and then pray. You are in our prayers daily.

	    		-Rohn, Wendy, and family

I am sure that my feelings towards this tragedy is representative of how most canadians feel: that of shock, anger, and sympathy. Those of us who live in north america used to think that mass scale terrorism is something that we see on TV, that only happens in a faraway country. Sadly, the age of innocence is gone. To our southern neighbours, we grieve with you.

	    		-Fredericton, N.B. Canada

The people of the Washington, DC area are praying and thinking of the people involved in the bombing. Keep the faith. We are all behind you. I found this poem on a card shortly after I lost a loved one.
Many tears
are shed,
because we have
loved
one who was
special.
Now, memories
must sustain us.
Let them guide you
and keep you
today and always.
For as we remember,
we see love's
reflection in our tears.

As Oklahomans transplanted to Minnesota, we often long for news of our home state. But the news we received last Wednesday was not what we wanted to hear. To the rescue workers who are giving of their all, you are true American heroes.

But we have you in our thoughts and prayers which is all that we can do. WE are all devasted by this horrible act. But WE SHALL OVERCOME and that's a fact.

	    		-Danielle DiCicco

I wish peace and compassion to come your way. It is a sad event and we all ought to stop and share your pain as we stop to smell a beautiful flower. Peace,

	    		-Jonah Paisner,Brookline, MA USA

I am at a loss for words. I lie awake at night sometimes crying and sometimes with my mind racing with fanciful images of how I could have saved your children. My heart and hand go out to all of you that have lost loved ones, but especially to the mothers. All your children look like my child...because these feelings of love and loss are transcendant. I had hoped I could do more...but offer you wishes for strength and comfort. May something hopeful come of this...

A little less hate would be a small gift for all of us to extend to one another; to our expressions of frustration that something, someone might not conform to just the way we want it to be, we could all bring less intensity, perhaps a bit of realization that we do not control others by hate and anger, we only raise the likelyhood that we will never be at peace with one another.
Nothing returns a life lost; perhaps we should become more respectful of those alive, irrespective of the rather odd excuses we use to justify much of the anger that generates the rational for threatening [and ultimately taking] the life of another: color of skin, difference in language, the different ways in which we offer prayer as we try to cope with what we do not know and often fear.
Perhaps the lost lives in Oklahoma City can serve to help some of us focus on the value of life and the extraordinary price we pay for the hateful things we say to or about one another.

	    		-B Franza MD

TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAD ANY PART IN THE OKC BOMBING MINE AND MY DAUGHTERS DEEPEST THOUGHTS ARE WITH ALL OF YOU. IT IS SO WONDERFUL TO SEE HOW SO MANY PEOPLE PULLED TOGETHER. PLEASE KEEP UP YOUR STRONG FAITH AND SPIRTS. WE PRAY FOR ALL OF YOU.

	    		-CHARLENE & HOLLEY MAPLE GROVE,MN

We do not forget, but continue to think of, and pray for, all those involved in this shocking tragedy.

	    		-Jean Burrows, Toronto, Canada

This is a tragedy beyond belief. I can not believe that things such as this continue to happen in our world. I must admit that the shock was slow in coming after I had heard the news of this horrid event. My senses refused to believe that this was real, it became something like a movie to me. A few days after the bombing, I was sitting for my 11 month old nephew, and as I watched him taking his faultering steps across the living room, I realized how sick and tragic this bombing was. So many lives lost... There is no justification. I offer my condolences and my prayers to those directly effected by this. I wish that my circumstances allowed me to help out in a more physical means, but know that my family is praying for the survivors, victims, relatives and rescue workers. I wish there were more I could do to bring you peace in this time of heartbreak...

	    		-Anne Elizabeth Stevens

Our prayers are with you in this time of pain.

	    		-Artamis

"This too will pass"....but, "We will never forget"! Out of loss comes memory, memories are a legacy. To all of you who are/have been involved in our history's worst act of terrorism may you somehow know that you will not only be in all of America's hearts now, but also for all the generations to come. To the parents of the children: You might ask, where can I turn for peace? Where is my solace? It is my most sincere prayer that you know how chosen your little one's were. How precious they were in His sight. That there trials on this earth were but so short, that they had no reason to prove themselves worthy. That we as adults spend our entire lifetime trying to show our maker we are worthy of His presence, but not those sweat little babies. How precious they are in His sight. And you, you were their parents. How noble of a calling. How lucky you are to have been given such a gift. I pray that you too will know that through His great plan you too will have that chance again to finish being parents to those children, but this there time will be no fear of this type of world, but only a world of love and peace. Oh, how great His love. He will hold them tenderly in His care for you. My prayers are with you this troublesome time, but oddly you have comforted me. Your strength is a monument to me. I have cried with you, and prayed with you, and it is you who have helped me through this heartbreaking time. Thank you American's. Thank you for your genuine concerns for each of us. It gives me hope...we do still have charity...the pure Love of Christ, His Love and your love has warmed this world. Please continue to care...for the children who were lost...for their parents.....for the workers who gave so freely. God, Please Bless America Again! Etched in my heart forever.

	    		-Cheryl Hunter College Station, Texas

The rest of my life will be spent in prayer for healing for all of you. The pain you all have suffered, and will continue to endure - it is so unfair that precious life has been taken away so carelessly. Hold on to those special memories and cling to them, and may the joy of reminiscence ease the pain. God bless you all.

	    		-Cindy deSa- Birmingham, Alabama

I am still bewildered and deeply saddened by the tragedy in Oklahoma City. Please know that my thoughts, sympathies and prayers are with all of those who lives were touched or lost.
