I want to express my sympathy to the people who have lost their lives in this terrible tragedy. It was such a shame, and I find it hard to understand how someone could have done something like this. Keep one thing in mind, the heart of every american citizen is with you. We should as a country mourn the loss of our citizens jus as you mourn the loss of your ooved ones. May whatever God you believe in comfort your spirit.
The loss of a stranger
in times such as these
are not hard to watch
or so we believe

The loss of a friend
is harder to take
when you feel your heart
starting to break

The loss of a loved one
is the toughest of all
to know that they
can't answer your call

Do the best that you can
in times such as these
spend time with the ones
who want you to grieve

Remember the life
remember the love
picture them flying
on the wings of a dove

We were devastated to hear of such a horrible occurence in Oklahoma City. There is no situation that compares, due to the angry act of an uncaring individual, many people and families must suffer the loss of someone near and dear, and the loss of dear friends and associates. The horror was felt all over the world and our hearts and prayers are with all the victims. We hope that there will be swift and capital punishment for the perpetrators of this atrocity.

	    		- Elan Carr Stockton College, New Jersey.

Shock, anger, sadness, hurt, frustration... My head is such a jumble of emotions when I think about this terrible tragedy. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and the survivors for everything they have been through. The days to come will be difficult, but with that wonderful Midwestern spirit, you will overcome and prevail in the face of this adversity. Know that our hearts and spirits and utmost faith are with you in this time of sorrow, and know that we will be with you every step of the way. I speak on behalf of Minnesota and Wisconsin when I say this. We are with you, in mind and spirit. Every victim of this horrible tragedy is looking downwards from Heaven -- every single one. They will always be with you. Signed,

There are no words that can really mean much at a time like this. But my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Oklahoma City, with the victims and the survivors, and all who still face the agonizing wait to know what has happened to their loved ones. God bless the rescue workers, police, and volunteers, and all those who have reached out to each other in this darkest of hours. An act of terror like this is enough to destroy one's faith in humanity -- but the response to it is enough to rebuild that faith. We will not forget you, Oklahoma City.

	    		-Katherine Bryant, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Our hearts go out to you. What a terrible burden of grief and outrage you have to bear. We also weep. May the Lord be with you.

	    		-Jon and Susan Bryan, Albuquerque

I was shocked and surprised to see a bomb attack in America. Me coming from a third world country(India) am used to such incidents. But this was not supposed to happen to America. Its the only SuperPower left and was thought to be invulnerable to such terrorist activities. But........ I offer my sympathy to the city of Oklahomka and pray for the dead.

	    		-Manish Jaisinghani

To all the Families of the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing- I am still stunned by the horrible carnage that has occurred. I feel we must stand together in support until all of the perpetrators of this crime have been brought to justice. Be strong, and don't lose hope. The government has made a vow to you I'm sure they'll keep. I offer you my deepest sympathy and prayers. Sincerely,

	    		-Charles P. Caruso, Jr.

To everyone and anyone that has been affected by this horrible disaster in Oklahoma, I live in New Jersey and go to school for Speech and Language Pathology. We work with children in our clinics every day. I'm 20 and don't have any children of my own, but I'm around them in school and my family constantly. I can appreciate the purity and love children have to offer. They are precious beings... The people who raise those children as just as special. Those parents in the building took the time to create a life and begin to raise them in this world. Earth isn't what it used to be anymore. I truely believe that those moms, dads, and children are in a better place. I wish the world didn't have to be the way it is today with crime, greed, dishonesty, sexual harrassment, brutal serial murderers, kidnapping, drugs...I could go on, but it hurts. I cried when I saw what happened. And its going to hurt for a long time; it always does when family members are taken away. My deepest sympathies go out to everyone and you are all in my prayers. And even though I don't know each of your names - God does and He's with us all.

	    		-D. Novella

Living in Moscow, Idaho, it is difficult to grasp the total devastation which has taken place in Oklahoma City. It wasn't until I read the sympathy card on the internet that it hit me. It is hard to imagine that someone could want to cause this type of destruction and heartache not only to the survivors in OKC, but to the entire world. Our thoughts are with you at the University of Idaho, and everywhere else.

	    		-Jason Huestis

With as much hatred and animosity as the United States has to fight from external sources, it is beyond comprehension that we should have been so grievously wounded by one of our own people. Oklahoma City is in all our thoughts.

I am so sorry for your horrible loss and suffering. You are in my prayers every night. Please do not lose faith. My heart goes out to you in every way possible and if I could I would be on a plane right now to hold each and every one of you. All I know is that it is God's will. Why? I cannot answer that for you. I truly wish I could. My words may not be the comfort you need, but as an 18 year old my life has not been touched by such violence such as this. I hope you understand that I am doing my best with what I know. God be with you all. Love,

I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints of snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.
