I wanted to send this poem to the parents who lost children in the Oklahoma City disaster, or for any parent, like myself, who are grieving for those in Oklahoma. It is written by Lynne Schultz from New York: "If I was your child, and if I had died,
I'd look down from Heaven and see how you've cried.

I'd see all your sorrow, and feel all your pain,
I'd wish I could make you feel happy again.

I'd gently remind you that I'm God's child too,
and He had His reasons to take me from you.

If I was your child, and we were apart,
I'd want you to fill up the hole in your heart.

With memories of good times, and happier years,
And I'd send all my love to dry up your tears.
God bless you all, especially Edye Smith. I know your heart is broken, and so are alot of Mothers' hearts across America. I pray for you daily and I think of all of God's newest little angels, until we all meet again, God bless them and us.

My mother wrote this to honor all of those who died in the Oklahoma bombing as well as those who have lived to grief. A Monument She could have been your little one She even could have been mine. She now belongs to all of us Until the end of time She traveled such a very short road Now he holds her to his chest Now we tearfully lay her down For her final, eternal rest. So raise a monument to our sorrow And raise it to our loss And raise it to a country Which bears this heavy cross And let it be a reminder Of that awful April day When terror reigned in our country And we remembered how to pray. Kathleen Herman

I am sorry to hear about this disaster. I wish I could do something about it but I live in Canada.Best Wishes And I hope that no one else will lose their life to a disaster like this. P.S. I hope that you are successful in saving the other people who were injured.

	    		-Angel E. Perez

I express my deepest sympathy for those injured or killed and their families in the explosion that seems to have shaken the world. It is a shame that the repeated bombings instigated by the likes of the organisation that Gerry Adams represents does not seem to have the same effect, even when the so called military targets are crowded shopping centres. Bill Clinton has the right idea in saying he wants to stamp out terrorism but isn't this hippocritical when he openly invites Gerry Adams to the White House ?

	    		-Mark

Good on you all!. I really admire everybody who helped out in the finding of everyone in that building, you all did a fantastic job, and all of you should get a medal for it. Everyone in Australia, congratulates you... And I hope the police and the FBI find the people who did this awful thing, which lost many people their lives CONGRATULATIONS

April 19th will be remembered not as the worst disaster in United States history, but how a nation can come together in love and compassion. My prayers and love will be with you all.

	    		-Russell Rhdes

My grandaughter Casey is five years old and goes to daycare everyday while I complete my Masters Degree. Its just me and her. I hold her a little tighter and much longer every time we say goodbye and hello, I can't imagine the raw pain you must be feeling. I think of a child who was killed when I hold her now and pray .. that child can somehow also feel my hug. There is no thing that is more valuable then the lives of the children who were so mercilessly taken from all of us. For the children of Oklahoma, may we all love all the children who cross our lives..a little better then we have before. For the children of Oklahoma may we all take the children of this nation and the children of the world and keep them safe from hate and free from violence and into our hearts. It takes a village to raise a child. Today we all live in the village of Oklahoma. Your grief is ours.

I am truly praying for all of the survivors of the OKC bombing. It really makes me angry that they had to strike at the heart of our fair nation. I know how hard of a time that it is to cope with such a horrible event. Once again, all of the survivors are in my prayers.

The prayers of the Nation are rising to God on your behalf. If it can be said that any good has come of this horrible tragedy, then let it be said that our Nation has been united in prayer. We pray that those who continue to mourn would be comforted. There is a Day fast approaching where pain and grief will be no more, Where peace and justice will reign supreme, and Where our hope and faith and perseverance will be rewarded.

Deepest sympathy to all. God bless

can't express enough how sorry I am for so many people to be killed or injured. I live in rural Richland, Missouri and I speak for the citizens of Richland in saying we are sorry you have to suffer the pain and losses of loved ones. I feel especially sorry for the children that have been impacted by this tragedy. I do not know how I would react to such a tragedy as such here in Missouri. I know though that we can not handle these things ourselves and that with the Spirit of God, we can handle anything put before us. I pray for the adults and children of Oklahoma City. You obviously are very strong people. Good luck and God Bless. Jamie Rural Missouri

	    		-Jamie

May God fill your hearts with love. May God bless evertone who was in the building and their families and friends! Stay strong!

	    		-Geoff Aklinski

I was in United States on holiday when it happened and was horrified, like every other human being. However, it reminded me of all the bombings in London and Ireland. Devices set off by non-humans. Please don't encourage terrorists. Gerry Adams is a brave man using his voice (for now) and making it clear the gun is out of place. But the United States government should never have allowed him to raise funds, should the talks break down becuase of extermists over here, then the slaughter will return, and that money may well be used to fund it. Stamp hard on those who twist history or your constitution to meet their own, quite possibly dangerous ends. I pray such an attack NEVER happens in the United States again.

Your strength and courage, as well as your pain, has touched my heart. I can't imagine ever having to deal with such an inhumane action. Your community has been dealt a great blow and has shown the world how to overcome and to go on.

	    		-Renae K. Sutcliffe

I don't know where to begin. The disaster in OKC was in- humane and unforgiving. The victims who tragically passed on a normal day with no warning are now at peace within the Lord. I am deeply sorry for the families of the small innocent children who died such a violent and unrelentless death. No one deserves to die in such a manner, especially the children. To the culprits, I say: may God have pity on your souls, for you have done an unthinkable act. I pray that this would not happen again to anyone anywhere, and send all my best wishes to Oklahoma. -James R. Reif

There are many loving people who continue to think of the people of Oklahoma City. More than a month has passed since the evil act, but we still feel such pain. I am a federal government employee. While my agency lost only two people to the horrible act of evil, I feel a kinship with all of the victims. I think of you, pray for you, and still cry for you each day. God bless each and every one of you. Kathy Farmer, General Services Administration, Washington, DC

My hearfelt sympanthies to the vicims and their families. It is difficult to understand how something like this could happen. I try to tell myself that some good comes out of tragedy, but in this case I am having a hard time doing so. If anything, this incident has shown how low human beings can sink, and at the same time how courageous and caring they can be. Let that be a lesson to us all. Peace and love.

If I were still living with my grandmother in NW 18th Street, I probably would have heard the bomb blast. But it's been a really long time since I lived there. I've graduated from the Univ. Of Okla. and have taught for many years. But since the horrible bomb went off, it's as if I am there with you all- reliving my sweet days as a college student, even as a child, visiting my grandparents again. I feel so close to all of you and so far removed from the unhumanity and havoc that the bomb created. Please know that I think of you all, and can only bear to think or comprehend your horrible loss in fragments. But I know that with time you will heal and grow from this. In time your scars will no longer be visible and you will love life again. Just know that I am thinking of you all.

Although a month has passed since the OKC bombing, it is impossible to forget the images we all saw on tv. I know that as a nation we are all grieving for those who lost so much and tried so hard to save those in the federal building. My heart goes out to so many families that have been affected by this tragedy. I know I join many in wishing there was something I could do to help ease your pain at this time. I hope it helps just to know that there are so many people thinking of you and grieving with you. Time does heal some of the pain, but none of us will never forget.
